I have so much to say about Belize after visiting the magical island of San Pedro for 7 days. I could go ON & ON! Instead I thought it might be best to just share the video that Sarina and I posted to our YouTube channel (scroll to the bottom of this post for the video). We’ve highlighted:

Most importantly, we wanted to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves, so we were very present and very much ‘in the moment’, but we made sure to capture all of the key areas that WE would’ve wanted to know about before traveling there… So we hope this video is helpful to all of those who are looking to travel to Belize, during this time.

Our Experience Details:

• Airline: American Airlines (Flights were around $650 USD/pp)
• Hotel: Pur Cabanas & Resort located in San Pedro
• Restaurants: Pur, Palabras, D’Family, Sandy Toes, Truck Stop
• Fun Spots: Split beach bar (with diving board), Caye Caulker Island, Secret Beach (Multiple Beach Clubs Overall we LOVED Belize.

Everything about the country is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It’s not as touristy as some of the other tropical countries we’ve visited, like Mexico for example (No Shade). So if you’re looking to escape, and recharge on a beautiful island that is not as jam packed with US tours, this is the place to be. The food is amazing, the people are so welcoming, and the sites are simply breathtaking. We WILL be going back to visit, at least once a year (next time we’ll be staying at Caye Caulker!)

Storm Season: July – October We traveled late June and came back during 4th of July weekend, so we would recommend going around that timeframe, if not earlier. We experienced some rain showers, but nothing too crazy. The water is SO BLUE, and the food is AH-MAY-ZING. PUR is a very special place, and we recommend staying there, if you’re traveling to the island of San Pedro in Belize. Our stay was TOP TIER, we rated it 5 Stars on Trip Advisor.

It’s the only 18+ exclusive adults-only hotel in the area, and it’s BEAUTIFUL. The staff made us feel so comfortable, they were so helpful, and the resort helped us with transportation arrangements to and from the airport! Have you been to Belize?
