A Late Night Post: 👩🏾💻
There’s so much to talk about. Where do I begin? I guess I’ll start with my new job and the new journal series that I plan to start writing on this blog.

I recently resigned from a digital manager position at my prior job, and I’ve accepted a new manager position at a digital agency (working on a reputable brand). I have taken a week off and plan to start my first day at my new job, remotely, on Monday. I’ve been using this time to really get some R&R in so that I can get mentally clear and prepared for this transition.
I’ve done extensive research on the company/team, and after applying to multiple organizations, agencies, and available opportunities, I’ve accepted an offer that aligns more closely with my career path. Having worked in client services before, and then moving over to the brand side, I’ve learned that the grass isn’t always greener. I’ve also learned that I take valuable knowledge away from every situation I am in, and in order to continually evolve — I must tend to my own garden so that I am constantly growing and blooming no matter what.

In a nutshell, I took a step back and looked at the bigger picture regarding where I see myself headed in the future within my career. In order to get there I must have more access to knowledge and current industry tools, the ability to broaden my skill set, and the opportunity to build my resume for the next step (ultimately Senior/Director Level). I also need more structure and process, and I am comfortable working remotely from my home office, so I am excited about the opportunity.
Over the last few years (before and during the pandemic), I’ve been through a ton of noteworthy challenges, internally with the organizations (and at times with some team members that) I have worked with. Needless to say, I’m going to make the best out of my time at my new company, and I am grateful for the opportunity, but I am at a place in my life where I feel like I constantly have to just be ready and prepared to embrace what the Universe hands me, and navigate *gracefully. Whatever that may be, because it is all aligned with what is best for me!

“I am walking on the path which is aligned with my higher purpose, always and infinitely navigating gracefully”
Tatiana Robertson, a 30something
With all that being said, I’ve received my new work laptop, I have dropped off my old work equipment, and I plan to take it easy and lay the ‘Self Care’ on HEAVY this weekend before my first day on Monday. Now that I have my new planner, I also commit to maintaining balance between career and personal goals — because personal goals are important too! That means more writing, painting, and creating❤️ I will commit to maintaining my new ‘Work From Home’ 30something Thoughts series each week, and we’ll see how that goes👩🏾💻, but I am so grateful and excited for the *abundance of new blessings and *new, perfectly aligned opportunities that are on their way to me (as I continue on the path of alignment).

Please join me in doing all the things you love this weekend, or absolutely nothing at all if that’s the current mood — either way works just fine. Celebrate little and big wins, because they all matter. Take a moment to pat yourself on the back, because you’re amazing!
I am currently sitting in a major state of gratitude and look forward to elevating and advancing my career, as I transition onto a new path that is aligned with my best interest. I trust what the Youniverse has in store for me, and I will continue to embrace and welcome my blessings as I navigate life gracefully.
Also: I’m going to Panama in February! Woohoo can’t wait. Thanksgiving was lovely, and I look forward to visiting my family in 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years Eve. I can’t believe 2021 is nearly over. The past 2 years have been such a blur.
If you’ve made it down this far, thank you SO much for coming through!
Love & Light* to you!
– Tati ❤️
